An epoch making event before election it was expected that more then 235 million Americans will be voting to elect their president for the next four years . Since the disintegration of USSR the US election is considered to be determining not only the fate of people of United States but also the whole world .

It is so because the president of the most powerful country on this planet and his actions, inactions affect the whole world matters including politics, climate change, terrorism , economy etc. As previously it was expected that Joe Biden being the most crucial rival for trump and even could win the elections.
Trump policies of isolationism and critiques of US army Generals in prolonged wars just benefiting the US arms manufacturing companies has been there. Mr. trump created more foe then friends in the international community. EU leaders were sceptic of him, Russia and China were treading cautiously in their dealings with the united states and other countries.
Even America’s most allies in the different regions like Australia, Japan and India seem perplexed. The recent Quad meet is one but manifestation of that Arabs are divided especially after the Abraham accord. US seems to be losing the global hegemonic role because of Trump policies.
Scholars were of the view that in current scenario US, in need of a leadership who could restore the previous stature of US as was in 1990 or till 2008. This is why the 2020 elections has attained so much attention all across the world.

Now Biden has won the election so most probably intellectuals started debating on the US policies afterwards towards the different regions of the world. In the middle east because of Biden’s nature of being close to democratic principals by nature could pressurize Saudi Arabia for freedom of human rights in the kingdom which could cause a little tension in the relations of US and Saudi Arabia. But it is quite interesting to see how Biden go about things due to the fact that Saudi Arabia is probably the most important ally in the region.
It has the potential to preserve America’s interets with in the region and provide with the balancing factor with in the region which is probably the most important and disturbed region of the world. Weather to protect Israel’s interests or to maintain its control over the resources or to contain the imperial approach of Iran, Saudi Arabia is the answer to every problem with in the region.
Moreover, Saudi Arabia is one of the biggest US arms importer and any tension between the countries could have economic consequences on the fragile economy of the US especially in the pandemic era.

The second most important country in middle east for US is Israel serving as watchdog for the United States with in the region. The US under the leadership of Biden may go ignoring the human rights violations in Palestine by Israel due to it’s far more bigger interests regarding Israel.
It is evident with the amount of support given to Israel, diplomatic, political and military support. It is expected that in future US may provide Israel with the state of the art aircrafts named F22 Raptor which are probably the most advanced combat birds in the world and no other Air Force on this planet had the privilege to have these birds in their fleet.
In the Indian pacific region especially the containment of China through India would remain the same but again when it comes to human rights violations with in Kashmir and growning concers about the exploitation of minorities in India, Biden could take stance and may speak against the violations of human rights.
This is how bilateral relations may proceed with constraints of human rights violations and freehand in ammunition and information technology exchange programs to contain China. India’s tension over Ladakh with China could be a possible confrontation certainly the US providing both overt and covert assistance to New Delhi.
US policy towards Taiwan may could turn into flash point between United States of America and China. Official meetings and military exercises between Taiwan and US near Taiwan strait to protect it’s sovereignty can lead to further tensions between two major powers of the modern world. China seems angry on the Taiwan acquiring of f-16 fighter aircrafts and increased diplomatic relations between US and Taiwan.
It is expected that US policy towards Afghanistan would stay the same as was in the Trump’s era for the withdrawal of troops from Afghanistan. So for Pakistan especially, more or less it is expected that Biden policies will remain the same as were in Trump’s tenure.

Biden in debates has promised to join the Paris agreement for climate change which is considered to be a positive sign for US foreign policy in future prospects .
He also promised to bring Iran back in the nuclear deal as Iran and Israel had tensions ever since the US decision of withdrawal in 2018 from the joint comprehensive plan of action. This pushed Iran to purchase modern weapons from Russia like S-400 and as a result US started conducting military exercises with Israel and provided Israel with F-35 fighter jets with the intentions that Israel could strike on Iranian nuclear facilities or military installations.

If Tehran gets latest Russian hardware and make nuclear bomb it will be in position to strike Israel and US military bases in the Middle East. So the mighty US would be treading cautiously on the Iranian matter.
Trump policies of isolationism has led scholars to think about the end of globalized liberal order the order being challenged by rise of china and Growth of populism in western social structure.
This whole weakened the Role of US as manager of the system which has given space to China benefited from the situation. Now under the leadership of Biden US will try it’s best to restore it’s previous stature by joining the Paris agreement and would not stay outside any more from the world Health organization as by Trump decision to stay outside. Moreover, by far the most difficult task for Mr. Biden is to contain the Covid-19.
Pandemic that has killed more people than any of the war America had fought in the last few centuries. The pandemic also bring the difficult task to maintain the world order in the post Covid19 era especially considering the fact that China not only succeeds in containing the virus but also become very aggressive in this time which could be evident from its border skirmishes with India. So there is an up hill task for Biden to adress these issues and only time will tell how effective he could be in tackling these issues.
