Hamza Ali Abbasi, who recently hinted at returning to showbiz after quitting acting a year ago, says it is not art to show women naked or ridicule them on screen.
Speaking to digital news channel Pak Five Live, the well-known actor said that it is neither art nor secularism to ridicule women on screen in item songs or semi-nude shows.
Hamza Ali Abbasi said that it was his personal opinion that showing women on screen in a bold and semi-nude manner was his humiliation and it could not be called art in any way nor was it acceptable in religion and secularism.
According to him, it is also wrong to call semi-nude shows and item songs on TV channels as art.
Hamza Ali Abbasi has opposed item songs in the past, as well as expressing his views on how to create and improve on-screen content.
Speaking to Digital News Channel a few days ago, Hamza Ali Abbasi said that it took him 7 years to create millions of followers on Twitter and in the next 6 months he wants to increase the number of followers to 10 million.
