In the 18th match of the sixth edition of Pakistan Super League played in Abu Dhabi, Quetta Gladiators scored 133 runs in the allotted 20 overs thanks to the brilliant bowling of Islamabad United in response to which the opening batsmen of Islamabad United scored the required target in 10 overs. Colin Monroe and Usman Khawaja of Islamabad United played aggressively and impressed the Quetta Gladiators bowlers. Colin Monroe remained unbeaten on 90 off 36 balls. His innings included 12 fours and 5 sixes while Usman Khawaja remained unbeaten on 41 runs.
Earlier, Islamabad United captain Shadab Khan won the toss and invited Quetta Gladiators to bat first. Faf Dupleix and Usman Khan started the innings for Quetta Gladiators. Dupleix was the guest for only 5 runs. Usman Khan scored 14 runs.
Captain Sarfraz Ahmed’s innings was also limited to 2 runs, Azam Khan scored 26 runs, Andre Russell also scored 13 runs, Muhammad Nawaz scored 4 runs, Jack Wildermeth was dismissed for 9 runs while Jack Weatherland was the top scorer for 43 runs.
