Vivo has introduced IQOO 5 and 5 Pro smartphones equipped with flagship features. The two phones are similar in appearance, but the Pro version has faster charging support, while the back has a periscope module in the camera system.
Both the phones have 6.56-inch AMOLED display with 120 Hz refresh rate while the punch hole design has a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The display has a fingerprint reader with HDR1 Plus support inside the display while dual stereo speakers are provided for audio.
Both the phones have Snapdragon 865 processor, 8 to 12 GB RAM and 128 to 256 GB storage options.
According to the company, VC heat sink has also been provided to reduce the CPU temperature of the phone to 12 degrees.
As far as the battery is concerned, the IQO5 comes with a 4500 mAh battery with a 55 watt flash charge solution that can fully charge the device in 50 minutes.
In comparison, the 5 Pro has a 4000 mAh battery with 120 watt flash charge support.
The company claims that this phone can be charged from zero to 100 percent in just 15 minutes and in this respect is the world’s fastest charging system phone.
Android 10 has been merged with IQOUI 1.5 in both the phones.
Both the phones have a setup of 3 cameras on the back but there is some difference between the two.
The ICOO5’s main camera is equipped with a 50-megapixel sensor with a 13-megapixel Ultra Wide and a 13-megapixel portrait camera.
In comparison, the 5 Pro also has a 50-megapixel main camera and a 13-megapixel ultra-wide camera, but the third camera is different.
It is an 8-megapixel Periscope module camera with 5x optical and 60x hybrid zoom.
Both phones are being offered for sale in China.
