Washington: The United Nations has warned India against discriminating against Muslims under the guise of corona virus.
According to Radio Pakistan, in his message on the occasion of the International Day of Victims of Violence against Religious Beliefs, UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres has said that India’s ruling party and pro-government media are responsible for spreading the epidemic to Muslims.
He said that the Indian ruling party and the media, especially the Tablighi Jamaat, were responsible for the spread of the virus.
In his message, he added that Muslims are being denied medical care in the name of fear of the virus, and are facing attacks and boycotts.
