Srinagar: The Indian Army in occupied Kashmir martyred Junaid Sahrai along with his comrade.
According to Kashmir Media Service, the martyred youth was the son of Muhammad Ashraf Sahrai, a senior leader of the All Party Hurriyat Conference.

Occupying forces sealed off the entire area in an operation on the outskirts of Srinagar and Indian officials violated the sanctity of houses, after which Junaid Sahrai, a key freedom fighter, was martyred along with his accomplice. The operation also destroyed two houses with explosives.
The young martyr had studied up to MBA and joined the Kashmir Independence Movement two years ago after being tortured by Indian forces near his home.
Another member of the Indian Reserve Police Force and two members of the Special Operations Group were injured in the operation, which took place on Tuesday morning.

Later, the funeral prayers of martyred freedom fighter Junaid Sahrai were offered. Indian forces are still besieging the area in response to the backlash against the operation.
