Karachi: Former Test cricketer and 1992 World Cup winning captain Imran Khan praised fast bowler Haris Rauf and called him a great bowler.
The former cricketer said this during a formal talk with children in Adiala village. Imran Khan’s helicopter had to make an emergency landing in Adiala village which was going to Bani Gala from DI Khan.
Meanwhile, Imran Khan interacted with the children present and asked questions about their favorite cricketers.
While interacting with the children, Imran Khan praised fast bowler Haris Rauf and said “Haris Rauf is a great bowler”. When he asked about wicketkeeper-batsman Mohammad Rizwan, someone in the crowd complained about his slow batting.
In the absence of national team fast bowler Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf bowled well in the series against England, while in the tri-series against Bangladesh and New Zealand, good bowling is also being demonstrated on his behalf.
