England tour: Mohammad Amir’s place in national team uncertain, Waqar Younis

Waqar Younis, the bowling coach of the national team, has made it clear that there is no player in the national team who cannot be ignored and Pakistan will feed Muhammad Amir against England only if his performance is up to standard.

Mohammad Amir was expecting a baby, which led to his withdrawal from the tour of England, but after the birth of his daughter last week, he is now ready to join the England national team squad.

It should be noted that last year, Mohammad Aamir announced his retirement from the longest format of the game, saying that he now wants to play only limited overs cricket for the length of his career.

Despite Aamir’s sudden re-inclusion in the squad for the tour of England, national team bowling coach Waqar Younis said bluntly that Aamir’s place in the England national team is uncertain.

“The doors of the national team cannot be closed to anyone, whether they have played for Pakistan or are about to play,” he told reporters online.

“Aamir is an experienced bowler and when he left Test cricket we were all sad and we were dissatisfied but despite all that we went ahead and now we have to see,” he said. How is their performance?

“We will select and feed Aamir only when his performance is up to standard, but there is no player who cannot be ignored and we never imagined that we could not walk without a cricketer,” Waqar said. ۔

However, the former fast bowler said that young fast bowlers Shaheen Shah Afridi and Naseem Shah could learn a lot from Aamir’s presence.

“In a way, Aamir’s return is welcome as young players can learn from him, but we will give preference to players who are performing well,” he said.

“The wickets are slow in Manchester and Southampton and we will see what the attitude of the wicket is during the Test match between England and the West Indies,” the bowling coach hinted at taking to the field with two spinners in England.

“There is no doubt that the attitude of the wickets in England has changed. We will see who is more effective on these wickets. The weather is hot in England so we are thinking of playing with two spinners,” he said. can.
