England squad announced for West Indies first Test

LAHORE: A 13-member England squad has been announced for the scheduled first Test against the West Indies in Southampton from July 8.

England will be led by Ben Stokes. Other players include James Anderson, Joffre Archer, Dominic Base, Stuart Board, Rory Burns, Jose Butler, Zack Crawley, Joe Danley, Oli Pope, Dom Sibley, Chris Vokes and Mark Ward. ۔

With nine reserve players for the first Test, this will be the first cricket Test match in the Corona virus environment to be played without modified roles in the ICC playing conditions and without spectators.
