During the lockdown, lions camped on the streets

Due to the outbreak of Corona virus around the world, governments in many countries have implemented lock-in with precautionary measures, which has caused a lot of silence on the streets.

Animals are seen walking on the streets and resting where humans are confined to their homes.

Lions in South Africa’s Kruger National Park also took to the streets to take advantage of the silence caused by the lockdown.

According to the British Broadcasting BBC report, the ranger of the park, Richard Sawyer, went out on a patrol, as he saw a lion’s flock resting on the road, which is usually crowded by tourists.

Also, like other South African parks and zoos, Kroger National Park has been closed to tourists since March 25.

According to the report, the tigers were only visible on those roads at night, but now they are walking on the streets even in the absence of tourists.

But how were these photos taken?

Richard Sawyer also works in the park during lockdown and is busy protecting animals from predators.

He said that when he went out to patrol, he saw many lions relaxing on the road, which he took only 5 meters away.

According to him, “I took pictures of these lions with my mobile phone, they did not bother to look at me while most of them were slept.

According to the Ranger official, these animals have a habit of seeing people passing by in cars, but if I try to get out of the car and take pictures, it would not be possible.

He said that the largest lioness in this lake is 14 years old and it is considered too long for a lioness, so they have got used to seeing cars.

However, the Rangers do not want these tigers to think of these roads as safe, as they will get used to them here.

He said these lions are very intelligent, usually hidden in the bushes, but now they are evaluating the lockdown and enjoying their freedom.

It is thought that 34 people have died from Corona virus in South Africa till date while 2,506 people have been diagnosed with the virus.

Given the rapid spread of the Corona virus, the government extended a two-week lockdown in South Africa.
