Cross-border firing in Bajaur, Pak Army official martyred

RAWALPINDI: A Pak Army youth was martyred in a cross-border firing at a Pak Army check post in Bajaur sector.

According to Pakistan Army Public Relations (ISPR), soldier Sabir Shah was martyred in a cross-border firing at a Pakistan Army check post in Bajaur sector. The firing took place at a Pakistan Army check post along the Pak-Afghan border last night.

According to ISPR, Pakistan is regularly raising the issue of border management with Afghanistan, but Afghan territory should not be used against Pakistan.

It should be noted that this is not the first incident of cross-border firing on the Pak-Afghan border but there have been several such attacks in the past in which young men and civilians of the Pakistan Army have been martyred.
