Crimes on social media; Agreement between FIA and Facebook

Lahore: A data sharing agreement has been signed between the FIA ​​Cyber ​​Crime Wing and Facebook officials to root out the rising crime through social media.

According to the FIA, this is a major step between the two agencies that will significantly improve the handling of criminals on social media, now the focal point of the Cyber ​​Crime Wing to investigate crimes against women and children. A person will also be appointed to liaise with the Facebook team.

Sources said that the FIA ​​Cyber ​​Crime Wing and Facebook officials have decided to establish joint links in the future in accordance with international cyber crime laws and FBI policies and laws.

In this regard, the Facebook Expert Team has also agreed to expedite the cyber crime investigation process, while an agreement has been reached between Facebook officials, including the Head of Department and other officials of the Cyber ​​Crime Wing at FIA Headquarters. Founded.

Facebook officials have previously met with FIA officials to discuss cybercrime measures.

This process will lead to significant improvements in the prevention of the rising tide of cybercrime and will lead to practical steps to control and eradicate the rising tide of cybercrime.
