Corona virus: ‘No touching Kaaba during Hajj’

Due to the growing number of cases of corona virus around the world, Saudi Arabia has limited the number of pilgrims to perform the Hajj this year and has issued a number of rules and regulations that require touching the Kaaba during prayers and Tawaf. Will not be allowed

It may be recalled that on July 5, 3,580 cases of corona virus were reported in Saudi Arabia, after which the total number of people infected with corona virus was 29,509, while the death toll rose to 1,916 after the death of 58 people.

At the same time, after the recovery of 1,980 people in Saudi Arabia, the total number of people recovering from the epidemic was 145,236.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, the authorities will stop entry into Mina, Muzdalifah and Arafat without permission from July 19, 2020, ie 28 Zayd 1441 AH to August 2, 2020, ie 12 Dhul-Hijjah.

The Saudi Center for Disease Prevention and Control has developed rules and regulations to reduce the rate of infection and ensure the safety of pilgrims.

According to Arab News, Saudi Health Minister Dr. Tawfiq al-Rubayeh announced last month that the number of pilgrims would be limited this year.

The long list of medical protocols regarding Hajj will affect all workers and visitors this year.

Instructions and signs will be posted in all areas and written in different languages, including code-19 infection warnings, hand-washing regulations, sneezing and coughing etiquettes and the use of alcoholic hand sanitizers
