Corona virus may not have originated in China, claims British expert

The corona virus did not begin to spread from China, but could spread around the world and emerge when the environmental conditions are right for its development.

This claim has been made by an expert from the prestigious Oxford University in the United Kingdom.

According to the Telegraph, Dr Tom Jefferson, a senior associate tutor at the Oxford Center for Evidence-Based Medicine (CEBM), emphasized that there was evidence that the virus had been present elsewhere in Asia before it emerged.

Last week, Spanish medical experts said in a study that they had found traces of the virus in drainage samples collected in March 2019, nine months before its outbreak in Wuhan, China, in December 2019. ۔

In June, Italian scientists also discovered in drainage samples from Milan and Turin that the corona virus was present there in mid-December, with the first case reported there in February, while experts found traces of the virus in Brazil in November. I had discovered.

Dr. Tom Jefferson believes that there are many viruses that remain hidden until the conditions are right for them, which means that they suddenly disappear as they come.

He said ‘Stork 1 was called? He just disappeared suddenly. So we think about these things and we need to start researching the environment of viruses and understand how they form and evolve into different types.

“I think this new corona virus was already here, it means everywhere, it became active in the right environmental conditions,” he said.

He added: “A century ago, in the Spanish flu of 1918, amazing things happened, like 30% of the population of Western Samoa died as a result of this epidemic, even though they had no contact with the outside world.”

“The explanation may be that the virus didn’t come from here, it was always there and somehow mobilized, maybe a dense population or an environmental situation, and that’s what we need to look at,” he said.

They also believe that the virus can be spread through drainage systems or shared toilets, and that coughing or sneezing is not the only means of transmission.

“We’re doing a lot of research, we’re going to look at the environmental situation, we need to know a lot more about these viruses,” he said.

A study by the University of Cambridge in the UK in April suggested that the Novel Corona virus outbreak may have started in mid-September last year and did not start in the Chinese city of Wuhan.

The Cambridge University study is working to find the basis for the Code 19 epidemic, and the research team expects to be able to identify the first person to become the first victim of the virus, after which it can spread further. Started

While analyzing the virus’s spread network, they have so far been able to chart its spread, including genetic mutations, to determine how the virus spread from China to Australia, Europe and the rest of the world.

During the study, the study looked at more than 1,000 complete genomes of the corona virus, the sequences of which were developed from human patients.

The virus was later divided into type A, B and C based on genetic mutations, and the type A type A virus may have been transmitted from bats to pangolins in humans.

Type A was discovered in Chinese and American citizens, with modified versions reaching Australia and the United States.

According to the research, in most cases in Wuhan, the type A virus was not seen, but the type B virus was active, which indicates that it started to change from an event there.

The Type C version came from the abdomen of the Type B, which was seen in early cases in Europe, while patients were also found in South Korea, Singapore and Hong Kong, but no signs of it were found in China.

According to the researchers, the data collected show that the Corona virus epidemic began to spread between September 13 and December 7 and is based on the rate of change in the virus.

However, the scientists said that the time estimate may be wrong, but at the moment this estimate seems to be correct, in this regard, more patient samples will be analyzed.

Peter Forster, head of the research team, said the outbreak may not have started in Wuhan because the type B virus was detected in all patients there, but in 7 out of 11 genomes in Guangdong Province, 500 miles from Wuhan. As seen A, this number is very small because the number of genomes in the early stages of the epidemic was very small.

Referring to the identification of the root cause of the virus, he said that it was necessary to prevent it from happening again in the future and that it would reveal the factors that led to the spread of Code 19.

For the first time, scientists tracked the spread of the virus using technology used to migrate humans to find the origin of the virus.

The results of the study were published in the journal Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.

A report in March states that the first case of the virus was reported on November 17.

This was stated by the China Morning Post with reference to the analysis of cases of corona viruses by the Chinese government.

According to Chinese government data, the first possible patient salmon on November 17
