Diagnosis of the new Novel Corona Virus Cod-19 worldwide has to wait several hours for test results.This is the reason that a test is being worked out for the diagnosis as soon as possible.
Now a company in the United States has claimed success in setting the fastest test in this regard.
Abbott Laboratories has introduced the Corona virus test, which can detect a virus in 5 minutes.
The kit is so small and portable that it can be used anywhere, even by an ordinary doctor.
The test was approved by the United States Food and Drug Administration on March 27 on an emergency basis.
The company says it plans to supply 50,000 test kits from April 1.

This molecular test detects the corona virus genome when its levels are high.
The United States is currently experiencing a shortage of supply of test kits for the diagnosis of new viruses, and for a time there were only individuals who were considered at high risk.
In this test, the doctor will insert a cotton swab into the patient’s nose or throat and insert it into the machine. The result will be 15 minutes.

This is the second test to be approved by the Food and Drug Administration, which was previously approved by a biotechnology company called Cephid and took 45 minutes.
Other companies in the US are also working on developing a faster testing system as the number of cases there has grown exponentially.
At present, there are more than 500,000 cases reported in the United States alone, more than 177 killed and close to 900 recovered.
Worldwide, more than 6,222 people are ill, more than 28,000 have died and over 35,000 have recovered.
Earlier in Ireland a company had announced the development of a testing kit that would produce results in 15 minutes.
This testing kit will be available for sale worldwide in the next few weeks.

In Japan, too, a private company claims success in producing kits that can deliver results within 15 minutes.
Osaka-based company Karabo Industries has announced that it is offering kits for sale that can diagnose new viruses within 15 minutes and test accuracy is 85%.
A company spokeswoman said it was producing 1,000 kits a day and a kit costing 25 thousand yen.
The company claims that the kit can diagnose code 19 at an early stage even when symptoms are not apparent.
In the UK, too, some companies have claimed to manufacture the fastest diagnostic kits.
One of these sunscreen diagnostics says it has developed a test that can confirm the virus with 98 percent accuracy.
According to the company, a virus can be diagnosed in 10 minutes with the help of a drop of blood.
On the other hand, Moljok, another British company, is also working on a test that will help diagnose Code 19 in 10 minutes and cost less than a dollar.

How effective these two tests are, however, is difficult to say.
