Corona virus can live on skin for up to 9 hours, research shows

The corona virus that causes code 19 can live longer on human skin than flu viruses.

The discovery came in a new medical study.

Research has shown that SARS Cove 2 can survive on human skin for up to 9 hours, compared to the flu virus that can live on human skin for up to 2 hours.

Fortunately, hand sanitizers or hand sanitizers kill both viruses immediately.

The results of the study also highlight the importance of hand hygiene, which is an important means of preventing Kood 19.

According to research published in the medical journal Clinical Infectious Diseases, the virus can spread more through direct contact because it is more stable on the skin than the flu virus.

The researchers say the discovery reinforces the notion that proper hand hygiene is important to prevent the virus from spreading.

The virus infects the respiratory system and is spread by airborne particles that are released from the cough or sneeze of an infected person that fall on the nose or mouth of a nearby person or inhale while breathing.

But someone is also at risk of being infected when they touch the surface of an object that has these viral particles on it and then touch their mouth, nose or eyes.

A study in April found that the virus could last up to seven days on stainless steel, plastic and surgical masks.

During the study, scientists determined the life of the virus in a room with a humidity of 65 percent in a room of 21 degrees Celsius.

The researchers found that the virus disappeared from tissue paper and paper after 3 hours, while in wood and cloth it lasted 2 days.

The virus remained on glass and currency notes for 4 days, while it was discovered on stainless steel and plastic for 7 days.

The researchers said that of all the materials included in the study, the virus had been present on the outside of the surgical mask for the longest time.

Earlier, a study published in the New England Journal of Medicine on March 17 stated that the virus could survive up to four hours on copper, one day on cardboard and three days on plastic and stainless steel.

A joint study by the National Institutes of Health (NIH), Princeton University and the University of California, Berkeley found that the virus can survive for up to 4 hours on copper, one day on cardboard, three days on plastic and stainless steel and in the air. It can also last up to 3 hours.

In the new study, researchers at the Kyoto University of Medicine in Japan developed skin models from human skin samples obtained from dead human tissues.

The researchers found that the corona virus survived on human skin samples for 9 hours and 4 minutes, compared to 2 hours in the flu virus.

When the virus was mixed with a replica of particles released during coughing or sneezing, it remained in the skin for 11 hours instead of 9.

However, the use of hand sanitizer inactivated the virus in 15 seconds.

Proper hand hygiene immediately neutralizes the virus and reduces the risk of contracting the disease, the researchers said.
