Corona virus: Balochistan’s first patient died, killing 6 in the country

The outbreak of the Corona virus in Pakistan is fast approaching, and where the number of people infected with this global outbreak has exceeded 800, it was the first casualty of the virus in Balochistan.

The death toll from the Corona virus has risen to 6 across the country since the death.

On the said issue, Balochistan government spokesman Liaquat Shahwani said that Corona died first in Balochistan.

In one of his tweets, he said that the 65-year-old corona victim died at Fatima Jinnah Chest Hospital in Quetta.

It should be noted that after this death, the death toll in the country has reached 6 while the number of victims has reached 803.

If you look at the data, Sindh province is the worst affected with 352 cases while Punjab is second with 225 cases.

In Balochistan, corona virus has been infected with 108 people, while in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa the number is 31, in addition 11 people have been confirmed in Islamabad, 71 in Gilgit-Baltistan and one in Azad Kashmir.

Lockdown in Sindh and Gilgit-Baltistan
Meanwhile, due to the growing corona virus in the country, Sindh has been locked down for 15 days while in Gilgit Baltistan indefinitely.

The lockdown began at 12pm and would not allow people to get out of the house unnecessarily.

Regarding this lockdown, Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah had said that the lockdown was implemented after consultation with all political parties, clergy and people from different walks of life, inside and outside the parliament.

He said that the cases transmitted locally by the Corona virus are increasing and we have to stop them otherwise it will be out of control.

Meanwhile, Gilgit-Baltistan Law Minister Aurangzeb Khan and Information Minister Shams Mir announced that the Gilgit-Baltistan government decided to lock down the area to prevent the Corona virus from spreading.

At a press conference, he said that all markets, except shops and medical stores, shops would be closed and inter-district transport would remain suspended.

In addition, after the request of the army to be sought by the Sindh government, two more provinces, Punjab and Balochistan, also called for military assistance under Article 245 of the Constitution.

It is also to be noted that other security measures have been taken in view of the Corona virus in Punjab, Balochistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, besides Sindh and Gilgit Baltistan, and shopping malls, markets and other places have been temporarily closed in many places.
