Concerned about US sanctions, Huawei has decided to set up its own chip factory

Huawei is facing acquisition of various parts as a result of US sanctions, including a significant supply of chips.

But now the Chinese company is preparing to install its own chip set plant so that it does not have to depend on other companies.

According to the Financial Times, Huawei’s research and development department will run the plant and it has the support of the Chinese government.

Initially, Huawei will develop 45nm chip sets, which were first introduced in 2007.

Huawei has lost Google services since US sanctions last year and has been unable to work with chip companies such as Qualcomm and Broadcom.

The sanctions were tightened in May this year, barring companies using US technology around the world from manufacturing parts for Huawei.

In August, a report said that as a result of US sanctions, Huawei is now having problems making processor chips for its smartphones.

Richard Yu, head of Huawei’s mobile consumer unit, said engineers could be forced to suspend production of the processor chips Karen under the company on September 15 because US technology was required by contractors to manufacture them. As a result, the company will not be able to manufacture its own chips.

Now the new report states that 28 nm chip sets will be manufactured by 2021 that are useful for the Internet of Devices.

In 2022, Huawei will produce 20nm chips that will be useful for the 5G base station business.

However, Huawei will not be able to develop chips for smartphones for the next several years as the process will be quite complex and will require 5nm process technology.

But there have been reports that Qualcomm will be licensed by the US government and will be able to supply chips and processors to the Chinese company.

A report last week said that Sony and Omni Vision have been licensed to supply spare parts to Huawei.

These two companies are the two largest companies providing camera imaging sensors.

There are also reports that Intel, AMD and Samsung Display have received US approval to continue doing business with Huawei.

The United States will issue licenses for parts that are not related to the company’s 5G business, a report said.
