According to the World News Agency, during an online auction in China, a citizen surprised everyone by buying a mobile number for 3 325,000 (Rs. 50 million) which more than 5,000 people had bid to buy. But the highest bidder was given the number.
The most important thing about this mobile number is that the number 8 comes five times in a row at the end. The number 8 is considered lucky in China. In Chinese, the number 8 corresponds to the English word prosperity. That’s why thousands of people showed great interest in buying these numbers.
Consumers who receive this number, which is considered unique and a symbol of prosperity, will have to pay within ten days. Chinese companies often issue numbers that are of interest to the public.
