Prominent Bollywood actor Vijay Raz, 57, who played the role of Pakistani soldier Rehmat Ali in the popular Bollywood film ‘Kya Delhi, Kya Lahore’, has been arrested on charges of sexually abusing a fellow actress.
Vijay Raz has acted in over 100 films in the last two decades, mostly known for his comedic roles.

Vijay Raz is currently busy shooting for his upcoming film ‘Sherni’, where he was arrested by the police after his co-star accused him of sexual exploitation.
The Indian newspaper Hindustan Times reported that Vijay Raz was arrested from Gondia in Mumbai during the shooting of ‘Sherni’.
The report said that the co-star of the film had lodged a sexual abuse report against Vijay Raz with the police, in which the 30-year-old woman claimed that the 57-year-old actress had been sexually harassing her every evening for three days. ۔

According to the actress, in the hotel where she and Vijay Raz stayed, the actor touched her in an inappropriate manner every evening and sexually abused her.
The report said that 50 other members of the film crew were staying at the hotel where the incident took place.
According to the report, actress Vidya Balan was also staying at the hotel with Vijay Raz and the sexually abused girl for the shooting of the tiger.
