Blacker than coal ‘extremely black’ planet is about to commit ‘suicide’, experts say

Athika, New York: Astronomers say a planet called Wasp 12b is rapidly approaching its main star and will collide with its own star long before our previous estimates. Will cease to exist

It reflects very little light, which is why it is called a “blacker than coal” planet. Due to some of its bizarre features, it is regularly monitored by experts.

Some time ago, scientists discovered that the planet is getting closer and closer to its main star and will collide with it about 3.3 million years from today and will end forever.
Cornell University astronomers have further corrected earlier estimates that “Wasp 12b” is moving faster toward its main star, making it “only” 2.9 million years later. It will collide with its own star, 350,000 years earlier than previously thought!

This seems to be a very long time, but on a global scale, even a few million years is considered to be only a few minutes long.

These details have been approved for publication in The Astronomical Journal, and an advance copy of this article is available on the archive.org archive.org.

Hot Jupiter; but also black black!
For additional information from readers, let us say that “Wasp 12b” is located in “Ariga”, a cluster in the northern sky, which is about 870 light years away from our earth, meaning that 870 light reaches us from this place. It takes years.

Although the mass of Wasp 12b is 40% larger than that of Jupiter, the largest planet in our solar system, and its mass is almost double that of our Jupiter, it is very close to its main star and its stars in just 26 hours. Completes a cycle around This means that one year of “Wasp 12B” is slightly larger than just one day on our planet.

It is considered a “hot Jupiter” type of planet because it is very close to its main star and has an outer temperature of more than 2500 degrees Kelvin (2300 degrees Celsius).

Due to this close proximity, one side of “Wasp 12B” is always towards its star and the other side is always in the opposite direction. It is consuming about 20 trillion tons of material.

Due to the gravity of its main star and its own gaseous state, scientists believe that the “Wasp 12b” may not be entirely round, but oval. ۔

The planet is also unique in that it has so far discovered most of the planets Jupiter or larger at a considerable distance from its main star, while the number of these large planets orbiting at a short distance from the main star is very small.
