Asif Zardari had lifted 5 years ban on me, Shoaib Akhtar

Former Test cricketer Shoaib Akhtar has revealed that Asif Ali Zardari had lifted his five-year ban.

In the program ‘Extra Innings with Wasim Badami’ of private channel ‘ARY News’, Shoaib Akhtar talked about his personal life, cricket career and national affairs.

Regarding his fitness, Shoaib Akhtar said, “From the age of four or five, I had problems with my arms and legs. Becoming a fast bowler was not my childhood dream. Until the age of 18, I thought about playing cricket.” was not.’

“I was already eager for compliments and compliments, which led me to come to cricket and go through various stages to join the national cricket team,” he said.

Regarding the fastest haircut, he said, “Under the pressure of the media, I had the fastest haircut in the history of cricket, but I was not particularly happy to have the fastest haircut.”

Referring to his five-year ban, Shoaib Malik said, “Asif Ali Zardari helped me at that time. He told the then PCB chairman Naseem Ashraf to bring Shoaib in the team or we would send you home.” ۔ ‘

“After dealing with this issue, if the team won a match in the IPL, Shah Rukh Khan would dance happily all night. Pakistan won so many matches but no one asks,” he said.

Asked about entering politics, the former Test cricketer said, “Why is this question asked when Rawalpindi is not mentioned? I am half a soldier and I have no intention of entering politics because my mother does not want that.” If I contest the elections as an independent from Rawalpindi, I can win.

He said that he is a fan of all politicians including Imran Khan, Nawaz Sharif and also expressed good wishes for Prime Minister Imran Khan and said that he hoped that Imran Khan would take the country out of the crisis.

Referring to the country’s politics, he said that “democracy in the country should be logical, politicians should stop lying and tell the truth, while there should be reconciliation between the army and political parties.”

Referring to a statement made by former Indian cricket batsman Virender Sehwag about him, Shoaib Akhtar said, “It is Allah who gives money, not India, but I cannot speak on the basis of hatred.”

He said that Sehwag was complaining about his statement, if he had said anything back then he would have hit him on the ground.

Referring to the current national cricket, he said, “There is mismanagement in the cricket board. As long as you stop good people from coming forward, cricket will go down. Chairman Ehsan Mani’s mood is not aggressive which is needed at the moment.” ۔ ‘

He said, “Younis Khan was given the wrong post. He should have been given the post in the academy so that he could teach the boys a lesson.”
