Cut the nails properly

If you want to avoid this problem in the future, trim your nails properly. Always start cutting nails from the corners, not the middle. Cut nails every 2 to 3 weeks.

Wear comfortable shoes

If you have ever had this problem, choose shoes that provide more space for the fingers. It is best to use shoes made of soft fiber that allow the skin to ‘breathe’ while also giving space to the fingers. ۔ Tight and uncomfortable shoes often cause the flesh to sink into the nails.

See a doctor

If any method does not work and the nails do not improve in 2 to 3 days, consult a doctor. General practitioners are also usually successful in treating this problem, but if the matter is complicated or the affected area becomes very swollen, consult a specialist.
