LAHORE: Punjab Police have arrested another accused in a motorway abuse case who confessed to the crime before the police.
CIA police have arrested another accused Shafqat in the motorway abuse case, who has been arrested on the identification of accused Waqarul Hassan, who made the arrest yesterday.

Shafqat was taken into custody from Depalpur and shifted to Lahore. According to police sources, accused Shafqat has a previous record and has confessed to the crime before the police.
Compassionate DNA will be taken, in the light of which the final evidence will come to light. According to the police, there is a strong possibility that the fugitive accused Abid Ali’s co-accused was Shafqat and now the entire gang is close to being traced.
Investigators have also arrested another friend of the main accused Abid and started investigation. The detainee is a resident of Sheikhupura.
On the other hand, Saleh Abbas of Waqarul Hassan, the other main accused in the motorway abuse case, has also handed himself over to the police in Sheikhupura, but he has denied any wrongdoing.

Abbas has told the police that he was using a SIM registered in the name of his brother-in-law Waqarul Hassan, and the accused Abid was contacted 10 days ago, but this is before the incident and I have nothing to do with the incident.
