The United States became the first country in the world where the death toll from the global outbreak of the Corona virus exceeded 2,000, and due to the large number of deaths, the bodies were buried in mass graves.
According to a BBC report from the British Constitution, Johns Hopkins University’s Coronas Case tracking website data showed 2,810 deaths were reported in the United States within 24 hours.

Reports suggest that the death toll in the United States is likely to exceed the death toll in Italy, while the number of virus-infected patients has increased by more than 5 million.

On the other hand, photos and footage of burials were found in coffins in New York’s most densely populated city of New York, most affected by the virus.

It should be noted that in this city alone, 700 more people died in one day while 18,569 patients were treated in hospitals and the number of cases in New York state is higher than any other country in the world.
According to reports, drone footage of Hart Island surfaced last night in which security personnel were earlier buried in coffins in a mass grave.
For 150 years, the island has been used by officials for burial of persons who have no heirloom or whose families cannot afford burial costs.
According to a report by the Associated Press of the United States, 25 bodies were previously buried on the island during a week.

However, the burial process is now taking place five days a week and 24 hours a day instead of one day a week.
In this regard, officials said that prisoners in the city’s central jail used to bury the bodies, but the workload increased so much that the work was now being taken from contractors.
It is unclear who among those buried in the gravesite has no heirs or families of dogs unable to afford the expenses.
Access to this remote cemetery is possible only by boats, where the atmosphere is always mournful due to the mass graves without books and the number of dead is unknown.
On the other hand, Dr. Anthony, the head of American Infectious Disease, claimed that corona cases and mortality levels would start to decline soon in the United States.
He further said that despite this ‘significant backwardness’, prevention efforts, such as social distance, should not be eliminated.
