Sweden: The electric car that travels half the world with one liter of petrol has been named the most economical car in the world. The Eximus Four is powered by electricity and is environmentally friendly in every way. The car came out on top in Sweden’s Delsbo Electric competition and set a new world record.
Each year, students offer their eco-friendly and energy-efficient rides in a Delsbo electric car competition. All inventions and innovations are such that they can run on railway tracks. This time ExxonMobil has shown an energy efficiency of 687 MPGe, which means ‘the distance covered in miles per gallon of gasoline to be expressed in miles.’

This amazing ride has been developed by scientists at Delarna and Chambers University. The condition of the competition is to build a vehicle that can cover an average distance of 3.36 km on the tracks with six passengers weighing an average of 50 kg. This car meets this standard, but theoretically it can cover a distance of ten thousand kilometers per liter, that is, one teaspoon of gasoline energy (electric) is enough to travel 75 kilometers.

Eximis Four is built on a very lightweight and aerodynamic principle. It uses the lightest aircraft material and the car has been tested in an air tunnel where the efficiency of the aircraft is tested.
In the same competition, another group also presented a magnetically known train car which was awarded second prize.
