73 years of Indian occupation of Kashmir completed, Imran Khan announces support to Kashmiris till the end

ISLAMABAD: On the completion of 73 years of Indian occupation of Kashmir, Prime Minister Imran Khan has announced to support the Kashmiri people till justice is served.

Giving a message on Kashmir Solidarity Day and Black Day, Prime Minister Imran Khan said that we are celebrating this day to condemn the Indian illegal occupation. Imran Khan said that today Indian forces reached Srinagar to forcibly subjugate the Kashmiri people, India’s illegal occupation of Jammu and Kashmir is an international dispute and the resolution of this dispute is in the UN Charter and Security Council resolutions. Despite seven decades of atrocities, India has failed to break the resolve of the Kashmiri people.
The Prime Minister said that India is involved in state terrorism, extrajudicial killing of innocent Kashmiris, restrictions on freedom of expression, fake encounters, torture and death in custody, the world is witnessing incidents of Kashmiri leadership detention. The army is using pellet guns and burning houses. The international community is witnessing that India has failed to end the struggle for self-determination of the Kashmiri people despite all its efforts.

Imran Khan said India’s unilateral actions were a reflection of RSS-influenced Hindutva thinking, the military siege in occupied Kashmir and the unilateral move on August 5 exposed the ‘Hindutva’ ideology, The combination is a threat to regional peace and stability.
