4594 people affected by Corona virus in Pakistan, over 500 recover

The incidence of new cases of Corona virus in Pakistan could not be stopped and the total number of cases has reached 4,594 while the death toll has risen to 67 as more victims come forward today.

When the first case of the Corona virus came to light in the country on February 26, various measures were taken at the government level and the first educational institutions were shut down so that the virus could not spread to the students, then partially imposed various restrictions. So a complete lockdown was done.

The lockdown imposes various restrictions on business centers, shopping malls, parks, leisure destinations, interstate buses, passenger trains, unnecessary exit.

Nevertheless, the number of Corona virus cases in the country is increasing day by day and it has seen double-digit growth since the beginning of this month.

Although the first case of the virus was a Pakistani citizen from abroad, it is now transmitting locally from one person to another, and the number of such cases has been affected in a large number of cases in the country.

On April 9, new cases and fatalities were confirmed in the country, and in the morning, KP government officials informed the victims.

Sindh
In Sindh, a further 92 cases were confirmed Thursday and one death was confirmed.

Chief Minister Sindh Murad Ali Shah said in a video message that a further 642 people were tested in the last 24 hours, of which 92 were diagnosed with the virus.

He said that since the outbreak of the outbreak, 11,623 tests have been done so far, of which 1128 results have been positive while 69 more people have been recovered.

The death toll has risen to 21 in the province, he said.

Later, the Health Department was informed about the details of the cases: 74 cases were reported in Karachi, 3 cases in Hyderabad, 14 in Khyberpur and one in Shaheed Benazir Abad.

It was also informed that all these cases were locally transferable while one died in Karachi within 24 hours.

Another patient died in Karachi, Health Department said.

Punjab
A spokesman for Primary and Secondary Healthcare Department confirmed 58 more cases of Corona virus in Punjab, after which the number of victims in the province increased to 2224.

He said corona virus has been confirmed in 700 visitor centers, 662 polling stations, 68 prisoners and 794 civilians.

The spokesman also confirmed the death of another patient suffering from the Corona virus, which has led to 18 deaths in the province.

He said the patient died in a Lahore hospital.

Later, Punjab Chief Minister Usman Bazdar confirmed that 55 new cases had emerged via tweet after which the number of victims in the province has increased to 2279.

He said that corona virus has been confirmed in 701 visitors centers, 696 polling stations, 70 prisoners and 803 civilians.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Minister Timur Khan Jhagra shared data for the last 24 hours on social networking site Tweet.

He confirmed 33 more cases were reported in the province.

The health minister said that the number of virus deaths in the province is 20 while 122 people have recovered from it.

Overnight, the health department confirmed 65 new cases were reported in the province, after which the number of affected people in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa rose to 620.

The department also confirmed two more deaths, saying a 55-year-old woman in Peshawar and a 40-year-old man in Mardan died as a result of Corona.

The Corona virus death toll in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has risen to 22, after which it has surpassed all provinces.

Islamabad
Meanwhile, 19 more cases were reported in Islamabad.

According to the official statistics website, the number of cases in Islamabad has increased from 83 to 102.

Balochistan –
Spokesman Balochistan government Liaquat Shahwani confirmed seven more Corona virus cases have been reported in the province.

After the new cases, the number of affected people has increased to 219 in the province.

Gilgit-Baltistan
Meanwhile, more new patients were confirmed in Gilgit-Baltistan.

According to the website, the victims reached 213 after two new cases in Gilgit-Baltistan.

Azad Kashmir
A further 5 new cases of corona virus have been confirmed in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

According to official data, the number of Corona affected people has increased to 33 in Azad Jammu and Kashmir.

Healthy
In addition, the number of people receiving medical care in the country is also increasing rapidly.

As of last day, the number of people recovered was 467, which increased to 105 more and now 572 people have recovered.

It is to be noted that Punjab has the largest number of victims in the country where 2279 people have been infected so far.

Similarly, the number of Corona virus-infected people in Sindh has risen to 1128 while Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has 620 patients.

In Balochistan, 219 people have been affected by this outbreak, while in Gilgit-Baltistan the number is 213.

The federal capital Islamabad has 102 victims, while Azad Kashmir has been the least affected by the virus and the number has reached 33.
