3 national cricketers selected for England tour suffer from corona virus

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has confirmed the positive results of the Corona Test of three cricketers Haider Ali, Haris Rauf and Shadab Khan.

According to a statement issued by the PCB, no signs of code 19 were found in the three players before the test on Sunday.

The statement said that all the three players have been directed to go for self-isolation immediately, while the medical panel of the PCB is in full touch with the three players in this regard.

All three players are part of Pakistan’s 29-member squad for the tour of England.

The other two players, Usman Shinwari and Emad Waseem, tested negative, after which both players were directed to reach Lahore on June 24.

The PCB said that apart from Shoaib Malik, Cliff Deacon and Waqar Younis, all the other players and officials in the touring England squad have completed corona tests today.

The test was conducted in four different cities: Rawalpindi, Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar.

It should be noted that the departure of the national cricket team is expected on June 28 in a plane chartered by England.

After arriving in England, the national team will be in a 14-day quarantine in Birmingham, after which the training camp will begin.

The Pakistan Cricket Board announced a 29-member squad for the tour of England on June 12, which included the return of former captain Sarfraz Ahmed and the inclusion of young batsman Haider Ali.

The national team played a series of 3 Tests and 3 T20 matches in England and the tour is expected to start on August 5 with the first Test match.

According to the schedule, the Pakistan team will play its first Test match against the host team from August 5 to 9 at the Old Trafford Stadium in Manchester.

The second Test of the series will be played from August 13 to 17, while the third Test will be played from August 21 to 25 in Edgbaston.

The Test series will be followed by a three-match T20 series between the two teams, which will be played at the Old Trafford Stadium on August 28, August 30 and September 1, respectively
