22,000 runs in international cricket, Kohli became the eighth cricketer

Sydney: Indian captain Virat Kohli has become the eighth cricketer to complete 22,000 runs in international cricket.

He reached this milestone in his 89-run innings in the second ODI from Australia. Kohli has scored 11,977 runs in ODI cricket, 7240 in Test cricket and 2794 in T20. He is followed by Sachin Tendulkar (34357), Kumar Sangakkara (28016), Ricky Ponting (27483), Mahela Jayawardene (25957), Jack Kallis (25534), Rahul Dravid (24208) and Brian Lara (22358).
